Plumbing & Heating Specialist Joins JKM Team

 Aberdeen-based property maintenance company JKM has appointed a heating and plumbing specialist to manage its Projects team.Allan McIntosh, 57, who ran his own business for the past 25 years, has taken on the post of Projects Manager with the Tullos based firm.Mr McIntosh was previously National President for SNIPEF for Scotland and Ireland and Vice Convenor of Aberdeen City Council’s Environment and Infrastructure Committee during his role as Councillor for the Duthie ward.He is also currently the area co-ordinator for the Institute of Plumbing.At JKM he will manage the team of trade specialists and co-ordinate both commercial and domestic projects.His new role will involve overseeing projects which require the expertise of a plumbing specialist to ensure a quality completion which is on time and in budget.Allan’s knowledge and expertise in the plumbing industry will be a huge benefit to JKM.He said: “I like the way JKM operates and it’s a company which is going places.  One company delivering all the trades, coupled with excellent customer care is the way forward for the industry and I am delighted to join the team.”
